Took a few shots of 1989 x 1999 x 2019. More on YouTube ICYMI.
It seems easy enough. Im all about it but just worried about the smudging. Would it be something that has to be kept up on?Almost feel compelled to add the lines now. I’ve never added modifications or customized any of my shoes before but this just seems like an easy no brainer. Will post pics if I go through with it.

Hell yeah man right ? I literally thought the exact same thing as soon as I saw the idea here. I'm really not one to modify/customize either and like you said, it's a no brainer.Almost feel compelled to add the lines now. been out of the game for a while. Why would you iron the shoe? removing creases?
So we've got, exacto knife, paint brush, colored pencil, and fabric scissor methods now
I'm n9w wondering what a light coat sprayed at a distance with my crept protect would do to these after using the pencil and letting it set for a day or 2 before spraying. I'd honestly have to read the can to be sure it's even ok for nubuck/durabuck or whatever. I bought it for my flyknit's and knew it was ok on those so I never read the can lol.Ya, too much damage to that pair in the vid. Shoes look a little beat up after that treatment.
In theory, scraping should be the best method but in practice one can easily permanently mess the shoes up.
As far as the chalk or crayon/paint, we'll see how that holds up...after all...its Spring and
raining out all the time now...

I meant more or less keeping the water/rain away from the lines and potential runs. If you can even use crep on them that is.Nothing....it wouldn’t lock in the pencil work or extend the time before you would have to do it again.
The method did take away the luster if the gray but it's still there poster iron reshape. I didnt wanna get down as low as others. The right shoe I retouched it up.
Thanks for pics. I know you said you didn't go too low, but I can't even tell ironing took place.
Anyone gonna gamble on a different paint besides white lol
