Air Jordan IV “Black/Cement” - May 4th 2019

I learned from the mistake by not doubling up on '16 OG WC4s.Absolutely loved those, wore em til the back tabs fell off.Would love to bust out a fresh pair and rock the hell outta em for an additional 3+years! I'm just not the type of guy that buys anything over retail unless it's reasonable.Anyways,I love the BC4 just as much as the WC4.SNKRS came though for me on a pair and was driven enough to get a 2nd pair.jdsports.com came through! Awesome! Will be rocking for years!

This pair has the worst shape and the bubble netting by the toe kills it for me. Sold this pair. The shape is just bad and some threads are coming out of the midsole lmao.

don’t see nothing wrong with this pair. When I get a sneaker I just look to see if it’s clean. Nice paint job no manufacturer defects. Then I’m out

So, 2 questions. 1. What do you think is next, Fire Red or Military Blue. And 2. Didn’t he wear the Military Blue for Midsummer Night’s Magic 1989?

(dang how'd you manage to beat them so bad in such a short amount of time?)

idk man,Wore em every single day.My main mistake was ended wearing em TO work instead AFTER work.A job that involved a warehouse full of vinyl that needed to be cut to make frames for windows,That was my main problem, became careless.Anyways here’s a couple pics of what I considered BEAT

My god man . What are you, 9 years old? Those are beyond beat. Haven’t even worn my pair yet lol.

My WC are in very similar shape. They kept getting dirty and creased early on and I got tired of dealing with it so I gave up and made them my beaters. I actually wore them rock climbing a couple weeks ago and scraped all the paint off lol, making them even worse than they already are. I doubled up when they came out and have a DS pair that is still in the store bag, but it seemed to me that these shoes ran a size or more too long. They are like clown shoes. That's another reason I beat them up, I HATE the fit of the 2016 WC. Going to sell them on StockX soon, they are going for $350 plus, which I find ridiculous.

I ordered a hoodie from them last yr and I got that box...
I thought it was rather funny, it’s better than a giant swoosh on both sides

True. Idk why nike thought it would be a good idea to put big swooshes on the shipping box AND taped it up with tape that has the nike logo on it

I've worn my pair in the rain and it was just fine here in NYC.

One thing after a week of wearing these is that they have broken in somewhat but still pretty uncomfortable in comparison to my WC4s.

Also noticed the toebox creasing is heavily shown with a visible white lining. Doesn't look too great and gives me the impression these shoes won't age too well in the future. I shouldn't care too much since I bought these for the purpose of rocking since these are one of my favorite colorways.

The insole also has a massively tall arch, maybe not a problem for some but not that comfortable for people with wide, flat feet.
This. When I first tried them on, I immediately felt they were more snug than the WC4. I didn't want to half size up since the length is perfect for me. I'm a wide flat footer so to me I agree that the WC4s are more comfy and roomier than these BC4s. Hopefully the more I wear em the more they'll break in.
