Way too many ppl on here expectations are ridiculous. Maybe I delt with the bs from 08-2014 to the point that remastered pairs feel quality. I will say this tho I like the Iconic OG color ways. I know we arent getting OG quality or shape but damn have you ever owned 2012s. .......they suck and we’re still coveted. I’ll take 3 pair of 2019s gladly, pretty sure they will be comfortable and paint won’t chip out the box.

I gave in on the 3s because they are top 2 for me. But these don’t hold that type of value for me, so if they don’t get these right (at least in height and shape), I’ll easily pass.

Haven’t gotten 3s since 07 WC and I mainly got those because they were my grails. Just can’t get with the shape. I may try to pick up the mochas for the low. 3s used to be my favorite jordan. Same with 4s, they’re just so bulky and goofy looking it’s hard to pull them off nowadays.

I’m in for two pairs like all the recent Nike Air Retros. Don’t take for granted this era of Nike Air with OG Boxes. It could be gone as quickly as it came back.

True, but in terms of short term, everyday wear, you’ll wear the heel out of most AJ1s relatively quicker, unless you somehow don’t take steps heel-to-toe when you walk

The outer part of the heel would be worn down/showing the white midsole, theres a chunk of the outsole missing from the outer heel part

That toe loong like a big toe shoe size. Overall reminds me of my CDP 4's just with the Nike Air.

I expect the same as you. I will still buy them because it's been too damn long and I'm too damn old to wait another five years or whatever for them to potentially be fixed. Pisses me off, but just being honest and realistic.

That said ... and I am not an optimist by nature ... a chance still exists. Changes to shapes, materials, whatever--there has to be a FIRST drop to implement them. In December 2016, the Space Jams came out better than an 11 had in a long time. I remember still lamenting the lack of padding in the upper and a couple of other things. Regardless, I was hyped for the Concords, because while I knew they'd come up short to the OG, they'd still be pretty good. Fast forward and then those Platinum Tints came out a few months ago and they had the padding. My reaction upon picking them up in a store was, Hold Up, WTF is going on here? Then the Concords dropped and, whoa. Suddenly the 11s were brought back to life. So what if these are the first in the line of a long-awaited IV retool?

Not holding my breath whatsoever, but right now it's still possible. Until I see the reality, I will enjoy the anticipation of what is possible. Unlikely, but until then ...
