i feel like people into jordans on this board are some of the most OCD people on the planet. but on the bright side, as someone who only got into jordans when the aqua 8 retro came around in 2007 (i was a knicks/lakers fan in the 80s and 90s), it's good to get all this knowledge and see how close the retros are to the originals.
that said, i'm scooping regardless unless it's completely screwed up somehow.

These are an instacop but not a double up, especially if the paint flaking issues still exist. I've seen so many pairs of 4s (my own included) where the rest of the shoe could almost pass for DS but the paint is already going. What would otherwise be a 8.5 or 9 out of 10 condition grade becomes a 5 or 6 because of that lousy/cheap paint.
