I compared my pair with the Laneys not too long ago and yes the blue tint is nonexistence now.

Found this old high school senior pic from 1991, makes me want to pick these retros up. They can be found pretty cheap now.. question for the experts, are these worth picking up now or wait for the next release of these.

I got real excited for a second when I saw this thread title.. Black tongue fire red 5s are a top 5 all time for me. Tons of sentimental value with that shoe personally..
