Yeah, thats around the time where JB used all plastic type leather on most of their Jordans. The Orion 7's leather I remember was just as bad

I think Nike has cutback on OG colorways so as not to over do them but the pendulum has swung too far the other way now - especially when there are still PLENTY that need a proper retro or haven’t been released in ages. There has to be a happy medium.

From all the pics I've seen, these turned out really well. And no awful defects or botched QC that I've seen. That high ankle collar still is my favorite part on this one

I only had the 07’s but these are a big leap from what I’ve seen so far. Frankly this is one of the best looking Jordan GR’s this year imo.
