Air Jordan XXXIII first info

The 31’s were ok, outside of that new Jordan’s have been trash since the 23’s

You didn’t like the XX9 lows? The BC cw was awesome.

I didn’t say a word about shrouds. As for straps, exactly two shoes—the 8 and 20—out of 32 so far have had them, and only the 8 had straps crossing the shoe like they are in the photos of whatever this one is.

Does that prove anything? Certainly not. I simply meant, no, I wouldn’t expect such a design on a modern main Air Jordan model.
Not a big deal- both are similar. Straps seem to be making a return on performance lines across the brands...also you missed one- XX2 PE had straps:tongue:

Admittedly in hand the shoe feels great but looks alone they look like any random team Jordan imo. Not bad but not a stand out

This might sound strange but I remember when I first got my pair, I thought they smelled amazing right out of the box. In all my years of buying sneakers, I’ve never gotten a single pair that smelled as good as these XX9 lows, not sure what the hell they used on them.

This may be them. Hard to tell from the video

Lol. Really though, new shoe smell out the box is amazing. If they had a spray to keep it there, Id buy it. Most of you all know what Im talking about.

Yeah but dude the smell of those XX9 lows were something else... If I remember correctly, Nightwing or some other Sneakertuber pointed this out as well. I don’t know what they put in them but they smelled amazing.

You got me! I forgot all about those XX2s. Hell, even after I looked up images, I still don’t remember them. I guess that shows how enthused I was about that year’s Jordan LOL

This is why I believe these are the 33 PROTOTYPE...

As with any prototype, there are multiple versions working on any one part of the shoe such as the flyknit, straps, outsole, midsole, airbag, leather, etc. This is where weartesting provides the feedback as to what is working and what is not.

This obviously isn’t the final version of what I think will be the 33.

I hope that's not them. but, I do like that zoom and wud not b mad if that was the 33 sole. it's just the straps that make no sense to me. they dont belong imo

It is a strange feature to see on a Jordan sig prototype. However, the straps might not even be on the final version. If so, I’d have to believe they offer an advantage in some way. That’s why weartesting is a part of the process: to see what works and what doesn’t and edit the shoe properly to maintain its function for basketball.
