Air Jordan XXXVII (37) first look…

Got my 37’s yesterday and played in a league game. Great traction and cushioning. The weave material is ok but lets the shoe down somewhat. I lace tight, so because it’s so flexible I could feel it scrunching up and bunching up around my foot on hard moves when the angle of my toes in relation to my shin decreased… if that makes sense. Wasn’t a huge problem and I’ll see if it continues. They need to stop with these non-premium materials or at least give us a leather option. Overall, loved it, though. I played the whole game in them and didn’t switch at halftime like I was expecting. First model in awhile like that for me. My experience with the 30+ models hasn’t been great.

31 - awesome shoe, but had that scary traction issue where out of nowhere you slip

32 - great all around , no complaints

33 - clunky and hurt my arches

34 - dug into my ankles and hurt my arches

35 - great performance but dig into my ankles and hurt my arches

36 - skipped this model

Side note: on every model since the 33, I’ve had to go down 0.5 size. 37 included.

So what’s the explanation for not releasing the Siren Red lows in PF? I’ve been buying PF for the last two models because I like that XDR for outside. Hopefully they will do it for other colorways.

I just don't play enough anymore to justify buying shoes every year. Injuries and age limit me to one league night per week, then recovery until the next week's game. I don't even practice. lol. I have a fast and athletic play style, so I like to be as fresh physically as possible so I take it easy on my back and knees when not playing. 36's really just a casualty of lack of necessity on my part. Nice shoe though.
