so consumers think its limited (thus, driving up demand and hype).

NIKE, you don't have to be the culprit of the ongoing sneaker violence if you produce enough so all of us
who want the shoe can eat and eat in peace. 

I know corporate greed and bad press means more business for you. No guilt when blinded by dollar signs.
We get it. 



But if it was your child that was gunned down by an overzealous and impatient shoe buff who's only concern
was to acquire sought-after, famous athlete-endorsed merchandise by any means...

You figure, from a corporate standpoint, sacrifice a several dead minority bodies a year as long as you exceed
your annual profit quota - things will be peaches and cream (i bet Nike doesn't even have a PR team/dept. - that's
like seeing a monk at a porn convention).

at 3M not visible to the naked eye. Seriously? If you're copping the 2013s, cool, but don't act like the OGs and 2004s weren't better for having 3M, like the way they were originally designed to be. Some dudes are really reaching hard to justify buying these 2013s.

this. You can have whatever reason you want to buy a shoe, but dont knock what was made special about the older retros. For those who say you cant see the 3M with the naked eye, need to rock a pair and walk around a place with light and then tell us that it doesnt shine. If you want these because you have never had them, I hope you can get your pair, but please stop saying the 3M isnt special. I like how it makes it unique. Kind of like the jumpman jam on the older space jams (not to get off topic)

My Junior year in HS my main Homeboy's dad copped those for him as a B-Day gift and he wore the things until the blue side panel on the left shoe started to tear away from the upper

...It was his first and only pair of J's as far as I remember...Our B-Ball coach got sooo pissed off at him for running drills wrong during practice one afternoon that when we were finished he grabbed one of the shoes and threw it up onto the roof of the gym

...Repped for bringing back some good memories for me...

hah that's fine.  I've been buying/collecting shoes since the 80s.  If people want to judge me based on a join date on an internet forum, be my guest.  I just happen to stumble across this forum by seeing how much hype was out there for these XIII's.  I missed out on the XI's because I didn't want to deal with the crazies.  I bought the retro flu game 12's with ease late in the afternoon back when they released in 09.  Same way with my flint XIII's.  Wanted to check the hype on these bred XIII's and voila.  Here I am. 

I love the OGs probably more than anybody and this retro isn't that far from the original by JB standards. Especially considering that was 1998 and it is now 2013. Can't expect any product to be the exact same as back then.

I personally like that theres no 3M. We have 2 releases of these that had it. Having 1 without it is fine with me. Glow in the dark, 3M, etc. are gimmicks for the kids lol. Im personally not even a fan of 13s with mesh. He got games and playoffs are by far the best 13s in my book. The OG leather that covers those is butter....

Nike has a good job marketing their product, and everything else (crime, resell market) is a byproduct.

YES!  This is perfect if it is directed at zeroisfirst, acting like he is doing just a favor by not charging cash but still throwing out that you have to help him at some time with a sneaker favor. Dudes would probably rather just pay the $20 than be indebted to him to return a favor at his convenience. I help people with the RSVP's just to help when I can since I have an advantage, maybe they can help me in the future but it's no guarantee and I don't make them think they will have to owe me as part of me helping them. It sucks that there are people that do charge money, but at least they aren't acting like they are doing it out of the kindness of their heart while they have their own agenda. Get offa that high horse.

Both of the local malls around here are only getting one FSR at each store, for an OG CW, which seems really odd to me. What kind of numbers are you guys seeing around your area? One FSR is barely enough to fulfill what the employees are going to take, so I don't see what JB's plan is for these.

Memphis probably gave you his....its funny how people talk so much junk and can't even code a webpage let alone a application. Don't try and take credit for someone else work i dont care if you got a "better" app i got my own, im helping people and thats all that matters really.
