I've been a Raider fan for a long time. I really felt that I couldn't full on support the team in the last few years when Al wouldn't relinquish control and the team was pathetic. I'm sad he died, but I'm very proud of his accomplishments and what the future of Raider Nation has in store.

RIP Al, you were indeed a Maverick.

I have no real strong allegiance to any team out here.....I grew up in Chicago and wasn't a Bears fan. I became a Raider fan because of Bo Jackson. I don't hate the 9ers or anything, my in-laws are huge fans. I root for good football more than anything else.

Some of the youngsters here dont know that Al Davis never lost it. Many thought in 99 gannon was a bad move, rice, garner, rwoodson, and romanowski but they all helped us get to 3 afc championships in 02 and 03.

Now Al Davis got us Run DMC, Seymour, Ford, Reece, Veldheer, Shaunessy, Houston , Wimbley and DMoore.

The man made good moves in the past and recently.

People critisized him based on what they heard on sportscenter and NFL live...now they are all saying how awesome he was.





AL u will always be the main raider!
