I loved this movie. I know the director got a lot of heat for making parts of a movie about the Holocaust funny, but I think those scenes madethe movie even sadder. Like when he made up the game to keep his son from finding out what was actually going on in the camp. He even goes as far as to"translate" what the German officer was saying to keep his son happy.
