When Shump and Amare come back we can run a legit 12 man rotation :D
Too bad Cope & White gonna be off the active roster :rolleyes

King: blown and-1's don't count against your attempts.

J.R. Got hot. But he's still irking me. He forces isolations too much. I do like his effort on defense tho.

I agree that Amare can help the 2nd unit a lot. I hope he can accept that role if Woodson throws it at him...

U right gabe im bugging out , he blew alot of layups though because of fouls and no calls. Ian O Conner can continue riding Deron's sack I don't even entertain his comments on the Knicks. When Shumpert comes back our defense is gonna be crazy also I really believe Amare needs to play the majority of his minutes with the second unit. Start him still but let him run with prigioni, smith, sheed, etc. the majority of the time.

Knicks should do what Miami does with James & Wade.

Both can start, but the rotations are different.

I'm fiending for Iman's return. Brewer is great to have as a defensive weapon off the bench. I know he still needs to get in rhythm but his offense is tough to deal with sometimes.

Great win. Hope we do it again tomorrow night.

This was one of those games you wished not just Knicks fans all saw. Melo's hustle and defense was inspiring and amazing but he'll probably still keep that iso black hole no defense rep he's got the past years no matter if this change remains consistent all season. Our overall defense is good as well. Once Sheed gets in shape, Camby is healthy, and Shump comes back we'll be a problem.

Only problem I had was with the line up of any 2 of our pgs on the court with Brewer and Melo. The only scorer is Melo and then that's when ball movement stops cuz Brewer can't shoot from the outside and Felton isn't as consistent to be playing sg with that line up. Don't like when Woodson has them out for too long. JR should've been in a bit sooner or Novak.

Referees were good as well, I like how they're officiating us so far.

from listening to the game today, I feel like everyone is forgetting the defense was very good last year. 5th in the league in adjusted efficiency.

Offensively through 2 games it is night and day from where they finished last year. Only thing I'm skeptical about is having this offensive output travel on the road. They're not going to shoot this well and then does the ball stop? That's what I want to see.

im starting to think amare should be on the bench when he comes back... i dont see how the chemistry will work with him... and his defense is suspect but we'll see

Yall dudes need to stop talking about Amar'e already. I see that underlying pessimism :lol Yall on that self-fulfilling prophecy tip right now. It seems only a 20 game win streak with him in the starting line up will shut yall up at this point when he's still weeks away from playing his first game of the season. Also kill all that Amar'e should be with the 2nd unit IF Woodson puts him there. IF Woodson decided to do that there'd be no conflict with Amar'e he's not gonna be a distraction like that to the team. Some of yall acting like Amar'e is the coach and it's up to him whether he starts or not. What yall need to realize is more than likely Woodson will not put him on the bench. He's gonna start him. He did the same thing last season which is something a lot of yall have forgotten when you were clamoring for the same thing. That's just Woodson and how he chose to do things. Lets take things one game at a time. Will reach that possible issue if it presents itself. Only way I see Amar'e coming off the bench is if we're already on a crazy win streak and he doesn't want to disrupt chemistry. He might still start him but play him with the 2nd unit like the Heat did last season with Bron and Wade. On the flip side, Shump is most likely coming off the bench when he's cleared to play and will have to earn his starting spot back.

Was thinking about the exact same thing while watching the game. I dont think all the open shots will keep falling on the road, wonder how they react to that.

Btw, cant wait to have Camby back :hat

honestly at this point and based on last season, i think he'd be holding up back

time to start considering parting ways (altho there's no conceivable way right now) but no one wants to talk about the pink elephant in the room

He wouldn't hold us back as mych as you think, as long as one of our 3 PG's are on the court he's good man. With or without Melo.

You're acting like were gonna make 3 point and outside shots for the rest of the season like we've been doing the past two games.

Amare could only help on offense. Defense, hes a liability but in order for us to be the team we need to be, we need him. Amare flourishes with PG's and ball movement.

No time to consider trading him or parting ways (thats not possible).
