and we're done

anyone else feel woody should have rolled the dice with novak when we were looking lethargic (shout out to clyde) toward the end of the third.

the whole team and garden were dead, melo was out with foul trouble. novak coulda hit one three and the whole place would have been set off.

just one little thought, but ultimately this game came down to melo. he needs to move the ball when the defense collapses and zeros in on his drive. i'm hoping he starts the game in a facilitator that can score mode, and then turns up the aggression in the 4th for the next game.

also don't like that we don't try working the pick and roll a second time if it fails the first. it goes pick and roll...ok that didn't work so its iso ball time.

Win game 2 and we possibly get another big back. To bring Hibbert from the rim since it looks like he is going to be allowed to get some contact.

I'm still confident in the Knicks they didn't get dominated. The Pacers best offensive player is also their best perimeter defender which is never good.

listen guys, we'll be fine...if anything it just shows we DO need amare to unclog da paint and draw da defenders to da out regions and open

up da lanes.

We got this, if Woodson makes adjustments like he did against BOS, we will win.
What adjustments?
we got versatile big man, we can win cuz da pacers are a old school bruiser team, melo and smith STILL kinda off shooting wise..

if they can get hotter and amare can come get off da bench and out work his magic we'll be in WAY better position.

da lost was a let down, but its not something da knicks can't fix...i mean da hawks gave they da dudes da BUSINESS in a few

games, and we're way more capable then that team.

No way well win with this small ball lineup West and Hansborough will continue to anally rape melo at the 4 . Also we have to find a way to stop making Hibbert look like Bill Russell

We beat them in the regular season without a single pf or c in our entire lineup. There's more to the problem than playing one big at a time considering we beat them with zero in the lineup before.

We can win with a small lineup, its just this team doesnt run. Hibbert at 7'2 doesnt want to run up and down the court.

We still had a chance to win the game. Melo goes out with his 4th foul (which was horse ****), but they were only down 6 at that point. Indy is a team that cant score, but yet they scored 59 points in the 2nd and 3rd quarter? Just out hustled. If we match the intensity we'll b fine.

Novak wasn't available and a chance he won't be for game 2 either.

Don't know if this was posted but the guy that voted for Carmelo was from the Boston Globe. Great article

My man Gary Washburn! :hat Great points sadly the MVP award doesn't go to the most valuable player but rather the person with the best stats for the season. :{ I don't have a problem with Lebron winning because that what the award has become but I don't fault Mr. Washburn for voting for what the award is supposed to be.

Melo got by any 4 who guarded him with ease all game, but body to body contact against Hibbert got no calls whatsoever. They need to adjust and hit those mid range shots away from Hibbert to force him out....felt like the Knicks were driving to the hoop to get contact as opposed to finishing too often. Just need to adjust.

Hansborough vs Melo is a joke

If Hibbert decides to play like he is 7'3 and Chandler decides to play the way he has. Then we are screwed. Chandler should be pissed at how he played.

It is a smart plan to try to get Hibbert in foul trouble. They just didn't call any fouls. That's why I don't blame some for stop going to the basket

Im not a really a fan of a big line up if your pf can't hit a mid range jumpshot

Kinda harsh man

Copeland needs more minutes. He is exactly what we need against the Pacers. Right now, Cope > Amare. Cope is actually healthy, can finish at the rim or hit a 3.Woodson, get Cope in there and Q-Rich to rough up some of these Pacers.

We can play small and win. We just can't be both small and play slow.

Miami going small vs Indiana opened up that series last year - but they also pushed the ball and had ability to get easy baskets.

I'm not in favor of starting Kenyon and displacing Melo from the 4 and two PG's that has worked so well (..wait for the iso-ball then), but if we're intent on playing in the half-court -we might have to.

I just don't like the idea of adjusting TO Indiana, make them adjust to us.

That's what I'm saying if their going to let Melo get his *** whooped in the lane with no fouls being called on their bigs its impossible for us to win . Put him back at the three and let him abuse Paul George in the post start K-Mart for rebounding and to defend David West and then allow Stat to come off the bench and feast on their front line .

I'd honestly roll the dice with Kenyon at the 5...

JR needs to show up especially on the board like he was earlier in the year. What Lance did yesterday was what he did earlier this year, we need that out of him.

problem with melo at the 3 is that is crowds the paint since kenyon and chandler cant shoot. i'd put melo at the 4 and copeland at the 3 in spurts and see how that works
