Have been watching his CNN series Parts Unknown
It's a lot sleeker with (clearly) better production than No Reservations

His progression from snarky/sarcastic/judgmental to more "investigatory" was great to see
He seemed to become a lot more accepting, toned down, quiet, respectful, and appreciative
Meeting people / experiencing more cultures really humanized him, imo
