Golf is so frustrating and fun at the same time. I just started playing in Brooklyn where I went to use a groupon I had for mini golf and they ended having a driving range so I told myself why not.
Fast forward to 2 weeks later and I now have a Cobra AMP cell driver. I've been looking to get a cheap iron set & putter. Any recommendations ? I want to hit a course before it gets cold here.

how often do you guys go out by yourself? having trouble getting my friends to to go out and I figure why nt go by myself? worst that happens is i get paired up or if I don't unjust throw on the iPod.

I always go out on twilight rounds by myself, hell even half the other rounds I play. Nobody else really is able to play when I do since I get off work so early and play midweek. Haven't been out much lately except for some 9 hole rounds, shot a even par 36 last week and followed it up 2 days later with a 48

I'm trying to get less spin on my drives and a mid launch. I heard this shaft was very good for that

I just have the stock diamana blue and I seem to just balloon the ball.

go sit on a launch monitor and get some numbers....

no matter how good or expensive the shafts are, your driver head may solve more problems than a shaft

both are more forgiving than the burners. id classify the ping and mizuno as sgi and the burners probably closer to gi. the g25 and 825 have significantly bigger soles. i actually like both irons significantly however i would have to say that long term value the pings will hold their value over the mizunos.
