For brand new/factory sealed DVD's: I prefer Ebay over Amazon because it's cheaper. People don't really search for them nowadays, so winning auctions or even buying BINs for cheap is pretty easy. 
For "Like new" or "watched only once" DVD's: Craigslist. Most sellers are desperate to let them go since they're moving to a different place or simply don't have interests in their collections anymore, so most discs are in the $3 range, although you can get them for cheaper, like $2 or even $1 per, if you purchase in big lots.
