I get that same %%#* on my cell once in awhile.

I can just tell by the area codes that I don't have on my contact list.

Haha i get this call all the time. I hit 1 once and talked to an operator to get my number off but that didnt work. I still get it like once or twice a day soif i have time when they call i go to operator and say something random or dumb. Usually results in a *click* or some anger form them which is funny to hear.

i hang up but they keep calling i have to stop it...

At least once or twice a week.

Edit: I actually listened to the automated message and it has an option to take you off the list.

just simply tell them, " " IM ON THE NATIONAL DO NOT CALL LIST " they have special keys on their keyboards that they press to put you on theirdo not call list.

or

go to your gov. website and add your name to the national do not call list. (once on the list and they still call you, you can see legal actions)
