Anybody thrown or been to Hotel Party?

A friend of mine jumped out of a window cuz hotel security came and he thought it was the police lol
the window wasn't too high up but it was still a leap and when he landed his knee went right into his chin
and we have never been to a hotel party since lol

yeah, before we all turned 21.. hotel parties (aside from house parties) were a staple..
5 times out of 5.. stopped by the cops.

Scratch the hotel, go to a Motel get like 2-3 rooms and go crazy. Motels are way less strict and cheaper, so if you are just trying to party they are the better option.
Find a nice motel and get 3 rooms right next to each other. Also if you speak with motel owner sometimes they dont care about a party. They will probably throw you in the back so you wont bother people.

The thing is pick a place in a area where loudness not a problem and that it wont disrupt other people

hotel partys are usually wack. They always get smoked out theres not enough room and cops or hotel management will kick you out if your loud. Theres some hotels/motels that basically allow you to party though you just gotta find the right one. Invite the right people though and it can be fun though.

All that I've been to have had cops come within an hour and start kicking people out, but as long as you stay in the room your fine it's just the stupid ones walking around the hallways that get kicked out instantly

OP,

I am a an Executive Housekeeping Manager at a Hyatt Hotel in New Jersey and I have had pleny of experience with wild hotel parties. One work of advise, don't do it. And here's the reason why, you take too much of a risk. But its summer time and a lot of hotels are sold out especially weekends, which means that people will be placed in rooms to the right, left and infront of you and more than likely they will complain once they start to hear noise. And trust me, THEY WILL COMPLAIN. You will have a fat security gaurd go to your room and issue a 1st warning. Then you guys will try to be cool and keep partying thinking that it's nothing. Then your neighbors will complain again, then security will come up and break everyone out of the room, then the 3rd time they will kick you out and call the cops. On top of all that, if you get kicked out, you will not get your money back.

On a Moral ground now, there's going to be liquor there. Being that this is my area of expertise, one of your friends will get out of control and start trying to re enact a scene from J ack $!* and start breaking stuff. Now once you break something in a hotel, rest assured that they will cfharge you triple for anything you break. So even though you may pay with cash, they will charge the CC on your reservation. Just last week I charged $10,000 for breaking a closet door and a window. Now, they are trying to sue and trust me they're not going to win this one.

Seconly, think of the 50-60 year old mothers that have to clean after your bottles, stained carpets, and vomit that you and your friends cause.

I'm done, dont do it, you'll take too much of a risk and regret it.

basically we had like 30 people crammed into a tiny room, it was hot and humid as #*#$, and the front desk found out and called the cops on us within like an hour

like ^ said, cops came, things broke. waste of money

house parties > hotel parties
this sums it up perfectly...I would imagine you are in high school OP because thats the only time these sounded cool.

My sister just had one for her birthday and said it was great. so I asked her for advice.

1) Go to a hotel that caters to parties. She did the Chelsea.
2) Get a suite. You'll have a kitchen to cook and store drinks if you'd like. You also have the benefit of space so everyone isn't cramped.
3) Invite your friends and keep everyone in the room.
4) Escort everyone you don't want there out the hotel at the end of the night and come back with the one you're trying to spend the night with.

Whether you can accomplish this really depends on the people you surround yourself with. My sister is an older woman than the average NTer, so a party for her is a bunch of adults socializing, drinking and having a good time. If you know your crowd is more of the house party crowd, meaning they're wont to throwing up, blacking out, commit acts of violence, blast music, this probably isn't for you.

Congratulations on turning 18 and have fun bro.
