Anyone else's cell provider killing them with taxes?

I know, it's crazy. I have a an iPad with AT&T and there is a 911 use tax. Sometimes it makes you think that some of these taxes are made up.

Go prepaid with an unlocked phone and kiss taxes goodbye. I pay $30 a month flat.

T-Mobile?

Yup, was paying close to $80 a month when i was on AT&T. Getting better and faster service with T-mobile's 4g than i was with ATT. Granted i only had a 3g iphone 4 on ATT so speeds weren't fast to start with but the fact i get better reception where i'm at with t-mobile alone was worth it, than on top of that cutting close to $50 a month off my bill.

I'm now on Straight Talk. $45 and I get unlimited talk/text and with 2GB of 3G data. Came from Sprint where I was paying close to $85 for the same thing.

I wish I could do that T-Mobile deal, but the service in my city is awful

prepaid with att. 200mins + unlimited texting

works out with just enough mins for me

*waits for cats to talk about their unlimited everything plan for $22 that no one ever in life will ever get again*
