X900 series price is pretty sick from years past for some reason. Never went on sale below 1k til now. Even that 1 cent difference is still considered 1k. Almost bought an old earlier edition of the x900 years ago but couldn't pull it thru due to my love for oled.

This got my purchasing plan on standby. Upon seeing this news earlier today, I'm suspecting a further drop for oled TVs, which would be great. Decided to save some money ($1.5k) and go with the non-motorized MantelMount MM700 for $500. I love this thing. Highly recommended for those mounting above a fireplace. It drops 26” bringing it to eye level. The handle turns red when the temperature exceeds 110 degrees F. Was able to watch tv for about 30 mins before the handle turned red and I put out the fire. May look into some type of heat deflector in the future.

Bestbuy has the Vizio 65” for $1500, LG CX (my tv) for $2150. I think the CX got as low as 1800 during the holiday sales.
If you go OLED get the extended warranty coverage for burn in. I posted my situation in here before. Definitely worth it.
