Marcy Houses? Maybe a few people; maybe. I think Co-Op City would be your best bet. Jay-Z may make it seem nice in his videos but it is a sht hole. I wouldntlook to move their only if I had to.. and also it's public housing which means you need to qualify.. and I can probably imagine their is a waiting list..

I live in Co-Op. Used to stay in Marcy and Tompkins.

Co-Op is like a mini-paradise in certain sections. Other section are a lil hood, nothing overwhelming. You DEFINITELY need a car though.

Marcy is pretty close to hell.

The second you step foot of Gates Ave....you will be tested. Have a hot jacket...you won't when you leave there.

Yea, you kind of need a whip here. On those hella cold days and you gotta get something from the plaza, or whatever, walking is pretty much suicide. Section 3,IMO, is the safest section.

Co-op is a good community. It has a lot of stores nearby and a movie theater. Also the apartments are very nice.

Co-op is ahhhhhh... Can't really describe it. It's a good/bad place. It all depends on your age group. Cause I went to High School in Co-op. TrumanSTAND UP!!!

I live in co-op and have lived there for a very long time. It used to be real quiet but now the young kids are trying to act hood. They really don't botheranyone. I don't see why you may need a car because every section (5sections) has a shopping center and there is a Mall near by (Bay Plaza). The apt'sare big too and everyone has to get cable vision. If you are paying extra on your current rent, you will enjoy that you don't have to pay for electric orwater so leave the ligths on all day if you want and you will never get charged. The only problem is that there are no local train stations so you would needto take a bus there or if you happen to live around Truman you could walk across the bridge (over the 95) to the 5 train.

Any questions: prsuperman247 - aim

Parking is getting way better now that all the garages are reopening. If you don't mind paying, pay to park in the garage. That way your car stays cleanand you don't have to search outside or shovel the snow. I'm not sure they they still do it, but for more money you can get your own parking spotreserved on the first floor of the garage. No one can park in that spot or they can get towed.
