I was team raw from iPhone 3GS until my xs max. No case no screen protector
Xs max always felt “weird” in hand. Dropped It from like a foot up onto the concrete and the back shattered. Cut my finger and bled on the screen too, and i was like alright that’s enough . Been using the leather Apple case and a screen protector since

Cases are good so the phone isn’t super slippery. Apple’s leather case is the goods.

Always used a leather case on my phone. But I do occasionally go raw.

I like the updated design and will probably upgrade my wife's phone.

I've had an iPhone/smart phone for over a decade now. 6 phones in total.

I probably average 1.5 drops per year, I have cracked 2 screens. Only replaced a screen 1x, the other time I just bought a new phone because it was time anyway.

A dropped phone event is part of life. Again, hedging against it is not worth compromising aesthetics.
