I don't know any directors at all.

If you guys want to talk actors I can do that as long as I'm given time to look up the names

Only names I know of the top of my heart are Park Bo young, Park Min Young, Park So Dam, Shin Hye Sun

So many Parks lol.

Not exactly a director but Wong Kar Wai is nothing without Christopher Doyle

Let’s not get too crazy here my man...:lol

As Tears Go By was shot without Doyle and you could already see WKW develop his visual style in that

Chungking Express was half shot by Doyle and half shot by Andrew Lau. Could you tell the difference 8o

Doyle is listed as DP for In The Mood for Love but 90% of what you see in the movie was shot by Mark Lee because they essentially reshot the entire movie again in Thailand and Doyle wasn’t available for that.

And I might be in the minority but I love The Grandmaster

This is all not to say that Doyle isn’t WKWs greatest collaborator, which he is, but put some respect on WKW name

Niketalk dont love Takashi Miike??

Great knowledge! I never knew that.
*The scenes in Fallen Angels...I can frame them

Since we talking about directors, Imma throw a spotlight on Chinese director and writer Hu Bo on this list. Dude made this great first movie and then offed himself. Such a loss.

Thanks again for recommending Arsicault :pimp: . My wife said you ruined Parisian Bakeries forever since it was better than any in Paris.
We're in NY now and nothing comes close.
Man I miss Arsicault so much. Don’t think they’ve been opened since covid started :(

Dude you see it eventually?
not yet. I have criterion channel and it’s available there so I’ll get around to it eventually.

Lemme see your anime recommendations bro.

On another note. What rice cookers ya'll rocking with??
I'm thinking of getting this Zojirushi Stan for the new house.

I haven't seen anime in a minute. Last time might've been My Hero Academia

The last anime I saw was cool though. It was a slice of life kinda movie.
