dope reshare by amanda seales that i thought was worth sharing. the original creators of the post highlighted how black activists from the civil rights movement advocated against anti-immigration laws that banned asians from entering the US, although america’s aggression and involvement is directly tied to why my family is here, as a child of refugees, i can appreciate that there were communities in the US, particularly black folks, who understood the institutional racism being perpetrated against domestically and internationally

Frink’s right. Call them anything else and they’re still Asians who go against self interest for whatever reason. Just a cultural wordplay.
