There's a fine line between jokes and insults and she crossed that line. For you to suggest her to counter-sue is just as ridiculous and absurd as Luice asking for 4 billion dollars. So other people joke about race, she's justified to do so as well? I'm not surprised at your ignorance, especially after looking at your signature.

. Since you're from Philly, I'll go out on a limb as to say you probably also support having casino development moved to the Philadelphia Chinatown as well. I welcome you to prove me wrong.
The whole situation is absurd and being taken to a level that it shouldn't.Within the privacy of her friends i believe she should be able tojoke about race(everybody does!!).Since she is in the spotlight and a role model she should have been more careful about having pictures taken of it.

Because im proud to be white i am ignorant????

And no i do not support casinos being built in Philadelphia at all. Although the prospect of it creating jobs is enticing. This city a a wreck as it is in alot of aspects, throwing gambling into the equation imo would not be beneficial to me.

completely disagree...but that's your opinion.
I can see where it increases our awareness, but what exactly are your thoughts on the whole issue itself?

I guess I have taken your signature out of context, but I do agree this whole situation is a mess and I apologize for calling you ignorant. As forher, she definitely deserves a lesson, but as I have stated before, the lawsuit is ridiculous. If there's anything that disturbs me, it's that you usethe argument that if everyone does something, someone else is justified to do so as well

. Fact is that she's still wrong and cannot be allowed to get away with aslap on the wrist. Hopefully she fully understands the magnitudes of her actions and learn from making such mistake inthe future.

Its cool about the sig...even though i don't agree she should be punished whatsoever.. what would you suggest as a punishment fitting for heractions????

The argument that someone should be allowed to make fun of other races because everyone else is doing it is absurd. How do you move away from any sortof racism with that kind of an attitude?

At the very least an education on Asian-American issues and why Asian-Americans or Asians that have been raised in the US are so sensitive toissues like these. Very few people back in the motherland are aware of the experiences of their American counterparts so they may not think it's a bigdeal, but for people growing up being mocked and ridiculed, Miley Cyrus' gesture glaring reminder of what we go through as we grow up.

She made a face...she didn't burn a cross on somebody's lawn. Let it go.

Can the same people up in arms about this honestly say they have never made a joke about another race???

That "face" she made is a racist gesture that has been used for a really long time. It's still as offensive now as it was before.

I can admit that I've made jokes about another race in the past. The thing is, I realized what I was doing was not right, even if I was cracking thesejokes amongst just my circle of friends. I make a conscious effort not to make any sort of racist/discriminatory jokes at all.

Too many sensitive people in here. THEY WERE JOKING AMONGST FRIENDS. If it was just miley and a group of all white friends, then you can cry racism, ignorance, whatever. If you dont understand that either you dont have friends (not acquaintance) from other ethnicities or youre too uptight and dont know how to letloose and have a laugh. Have her take a class? GTHOH!

someone already pointed that out to me, thanks for quoting something that i already corrected a long time ago. i said thank you to him & edited my post.but unfortunately we all only humans we all make mistakes.

The person that is sueing her doesn't even know wat is really going on but is just judging by the image that was taken. The Asian kid in the pic is the onethat knows the situation and he doesn't seem offended.

if you can sue someone for being racist then the black community should be monopolizing right now
