Someone please tell me these 3.1s are a joke. Like who in their right mind thinks that midsole was a good decision. These aren't for everyone, they're for no one lol

Thanks, was worried about being the only one thinking that. Those look more like asics classic trail/running joints with that midsole than lifestyle ones

When Ronnie does the same old thing, he gets hell. When he tries to innovate, he gets hell.
I am not a fan of the shoe either, but Ron is pretty much in a lose-lose situation with the diehard sneaker fans.
He can do no wrong to the "hype beast" but he's lost much cred with the real heads.
It's a shame. Say whatever you want to say, but he made some of the best Asics collabs. He's forced now to differentiate himself from other stores by using new models, using odd materials, or weird fusion-crap like this.

He released some of the best colors before all these US shops starting getting collabs and creating all these different colors on the same model. Pre 2013 I think he was only one of the few doing collabs on gliii in the states and it was about 3-4 a year at most. Nowadays I could open a shop and do a collab shortly after. He was ahead a little bit moving to the glv quickly. But as soon as shops started getting a hold of those it went down hill. I still like a lot of these collabs myself I just don't expect too much anymore. Just a rant on this awful work day if this even makes sense. Haha
