So because he turned to Satan he must have been going through a terrible time in life? Umm don't a lot of people find god when they'reterminally ill or in jail? You asked an honest question but to way you asked it was very condescending.Originally Posted by ctdaprince

Why did you decide to make this choice for yourself? I am not one to say if it is good or bad for you... but I would think there had to be some event in your life that showed you there were no options. Did you once believe in God, and he let you down some sort of way? Prayers not answered? I mean, obviously no one is born with this mindset, especially something of this nature. It seems as if you turned to someone at a time when you had no path, and they instilled this into your brain and daily function/out take on life.
Can you answer these questions, and let me know if there is any truth to what I brought up?
Thanks G, and I believe in God if that matters

But he says no one is born with a satanist mindset but no one is born with a christian, muslim, any religion mindset for that matter. And hementions someone had to instill this in his brain as if he's not a fully functioning human being who can read books and discover something on his own.Originally Posted by ctdaprince

He also stated that he's against the negativity of Christianity (Crusades, abuse of powers, negative justifications, etc.).Originally Posted by ScottHallWithAPick

Ok? You don't have to had a bad experience with religion to be against the negativity. All you need to do is turn on the TV. Religion hasnever ruined my life personally but I can view the division it brings between people. And there isn't much denying thatOriginally Posted by DaNiKeRhiNo

I was "born" catholic, no I didn't have any traumatic experiences that turned me away from God. I became an atheist in high school, had more to do with logic than anything. I'm the kind of guy who questions everything and I questioned my faith and none of it made any sense so I rejectedit. I'm also very sensitive to human suffering and if God exists he has forsaken a lot of people on this planet. My life has been good for the most part..well in comparison to others I consider myself lucky. I just think religion is all talk for the most part......and I have already expressed earlier how itdoesn't do enough to help and does more bad than good. And save the "it's all in God's plan" for someone else.Originally Posted by AntonLaVey

Bro, I remember seeing a documentary about that house and the gatherings they had. One time me and my cousin went looking for it.
Where is it?
Again, I personally know no one who has killed themselves over religion.Originally Posted by AntonLaVey

You keep making these broad generalizations about religion because you can base your "belief" on nothing else.
You're just a kid in undergrad who read a new book and feels enlightened.
Like a N' in jail who reads his first book ever and wants to tell you all about the "real deal" and how you need to wake up.
A "LaVeyan Satanist" - I mean, do you honestly take yourself seriously?
1. LOL I had a lot of LaVey's ideals even before I read the book......(THIS IS IMPORTANT TO KNOW).Originally Posted by ILL LEGAL OPERATION

Some White people have been racists for the last hundreds of years. Does that mean all white people are racists?
This is utterly and completely idiotic.
