Bachelor Pad.

Current set up for my iMac... I have an empty wall that I'm not sure what to put. Trying to keep the place simple, clutter free..

No desk real estate for books/notes/tablets/devices/etc. It's not a functional setup. Looks like an impractical store display.

Like when you watch porn... The angles they shoot are good for film, but not necessrily functional/comfortable.

I live on the same street I work on.... takes 7 minutes if I get all green lights.

didn't move here on purpose, it's all just one big coincidence.... long story

living in the city is more expensive in more ways than just rent .... being so close to everything may cause you to go out and do **** just because it's so convenient

like, when I lived in downtown Miami i would drive to the sneaker/clothing boutiques all the time because they were only 10 mins away ... more restaurants to try out... more bars to go to... etc etc

Man this thread is clutch. Just broke up with my girl so I'm back to being a bachelor. Aphrodisiac lasagna for all the women. Lol

Decided to renovate the room ... emptied it completely ,, repainted, added a California King, and a 50" ... I need room fillers bad, even though I am a minimalist ... Any ideas? My room is a decent size, but the panoramic view makes it look smaller.

A nice simple chair in there and a clothes ladder . I only recommend those because from the looks of it you don't have a dresser or night stands in there. Also I personally don't do tv's in the bed room I just have some low lighting and a Bose speaker in there along with some art .

I have a pretty nice balcony with views of downtown vegas/north end of the strip. Weather is getting nice and I need to get some ourdoor furniture. Anyone have any affordable ideas?

Don't need anything massive of course

Finally got around to mounting the 46" TV to the all and hiding the cables inside the wall, it has only made me want to upgrade to a 55" :smh:

With 4K TV's dipping in price, I may just hold off until next year when everything is a lot cheaper (lord knows I don't have the patience though).

I just don't know if the artwork above works anymore. :nerd:

I have an entire wall space to the left of the media center, still debating just a stand up mirror and a poster next to it *shrugs

Info on the Coffee Table? :smokin

i gotta get outta my PLACE...

this drive back and forth to work is killing me and my car...

how worth it is it to spend a little extra dough and live by your work?

i'm spending upwards of 2 hours a day in my car.

:x :x

$750 in living expense plus a 35minute commute on a damb toll road..... .or $1200 in living expense

but living across the street from work... in downtown... everything in walking distance...

is it worht it...

I'd def say it's worth it. I currently stay downtown and hardly ever have to drive. Also another luxury of staying downtown is that many buildings offer delivery services for dry cleaning and other stuff. Cost a bit more, but I think just on gas and time spent driving it's worth it

No brainer IMO. I have a deep deep deep hatred for traffic

I'm in the exact same position man. The drive time to and from work is killing me. I'm trying to move out but my own spot would be too expensive. I think I might have to do the roomate thing.

I would think its worth it .. being downtown and closer to everything sounds like its worth the money.. youll save $$ over time in terms of driving and just the hassle of it..
this is amazing :pimp: :pimp: :pimp:

me being a financial analyst....

i put it into a spread sheet and calculated it out..

Toll: 4.82 per day
MIles to work: 35
Mile per gallon 19
work days: 20

i took bills, tolls, and gas...

then i took the total of gas to school and bills to the downtown spot...

the delta was $250... so i'd be paying an extra $250 to stay downtown...

but then i figured in something else... how much my personal time was worth...

gave it a modest number at $5 and it brought it down to $94 extra to make the move...

now i just have to find out how in the holy hell i'm going to get out of a lease that doesnt end until april 30th.

and no... i dont want to wait... any advice on this?

You're trying too hard.

Something tells me a low bed is the least of your issues with sex but I can see why you'd have trouble getting out of them though.

Back on topic though.
man... u took my avatar from my twitter and posted it on NT? i clearly dont want anybody to see the avatar i have up on twitter. the real issue here is tho... my twitter isnt in my signature on here. altho its under the same name @TEKtheMAESTRO there, the only explanation is that you googled me. AND THAT IS WEIRD BRUH. i have no issues with sex being engaged n all. biggest issue i have getting out of bed in the morning is being tired from the basketball and smashing the night before. dont worry bout me, worry bout finding some girls who are easy enough for you to smash in that plenty of fish thread you stay posting in.

thats ugly to me
careful, exec doesnt take kindly to people making fun of his pallet beds.

and to stay on topic. fellas, do yall like ultra modern houses? if so....

to see the rest of the rooms and house just check out -> http://www.home-designing.com/2013/10/ultramodern-sleek-house-with-sharp-lines <- sickest house ive ever seen

honestly, i want a house like this. super modern. nice clean lines EVERYWHERE. impressive all around. but i find that you cant really have a family in these type of houses. it just doesnt feel like "home" ya know? i dont know how to explain it. anybody know what im talking about?

Your twitter link is on your NT profile genius. And you must play a lot of half court basketball. Watching my posts? Or you're doing a little searching of your own...?

room seems cramped. what made you opt for such a big bed? is there any space to even walk between the bed and the tv?
