Bachelor Pad.

I'm going to take a look at this Nacuzzi sectional in a mustard  microfiber from craigslist this afternoon.

be careful with sectionals... they can really overwhelm a room if not done right. but that one looks pretty clean/modern.

*wait for someone to recommend the wing poster

but I would like to rent a studio in miami, but I dont think Ill have a place that clean until Im done with school (architecture)

These are just a few examples of what I would have in my apartment, but this would be way too long if I got into furniture and all that.

"Like everyone else, I had become a
slave to the IKEA nesting instinct.
If I saw something like clever coffee
table sin the shape of a yin and yang,
I had to have it. I would flip through
catalogs and wonder, "What kind of dining
set defines me as a person?" We used to
read pornography. Now it was the Horchow
Collection. I had it all. Even the glass
dishes with tiny bubbles and imperfections,
proof they were crafted by the honest,
simple, hard-working indigenous peoples of
wherever."

I love warm colors, mostly Spanish/Mediterranean style. I thought I share this one house because it's the colors that make me feel like home.

I still have a bit of remodeling and finishing to do around the house, but I'll post pics of what I have on my computer right now, and take more when I get back home this afternoon. I like where this thread is heading: "dressing better thread for your home". The only thing with the pics posted from the blogs is that they are of bachelor pads for people who can afford/find enormous living spaces.

These RL towels are

. Gets you the comfort of a big, soft, plush towel, plus some extra impressive factor of having a familiar name on the tag. They had a sale on them in a recently at Macy's and Neiman's:

Say what you want about the RL teddy pillows, but girls tend to like them. I used to have the bed sheet, too, but that was OD. The rest of the sheets and duvet are RL, but a little bit more grown up. May eventually remove the teddy pillows all together and just put them on my sofa because I have one of those RL throw blankets with the teddy embroidered in the corner thrown over the back of it.

The mattress is important, too. I used to have one of those cheap Ikea mattresses... thing would make my back hurt like no other if I slept too long, but it worked for ~$50. My new mattress was ~$1,000, but it's Sealy and has a thick memory foam top to it. I have a set of feather pillows (the new ones) and a set of firmer pillows (the teddy ones) so I can have a balance that can help with sitting up against the back/wall. There's nothing better to keep a girl coming back than knowing that she can feel good in your bed even when you're not on top of her.

VCR's are virtually obsolete. Even a solely DVD-based player is kind of useless. I have a PS3 in my living room and a computer hooked up to the TV in my bedroom.

Anybody ever buy CB2 products? I'm looking at some of their stemware and barware, and it's definitely a decent price, just wondering about the quality?

KEEP THIS THREAD GOING
