I'm having a really tough time finding the "right" tv stand.
I ordered a Klipsch RF II surround sound system, and I need a tv unit that can do the following:
a) hold a 46" flat panel
b) have a slot that fits my center speaker ( dimensions 12 x 9 x 19 inches)
c) have cabinets (maybe glass so that the remote control signal can go through) to hide my playstation 3, receiver, and cable box
Now, I'm not crazy about this particular model (i prefer something more modern), but this would be a good example:

Well, you're not getting leather for $200. Your best bet is to just go to Ikea, Walmart, or Target and check out what they have.
OR
You may be able to find a real steal on Craigslist if you don't mind something a little used.

When I was furnishing my bachelor pad I wanted a bed like this too but everything was just too expensive, so I just settled on an ikea bed.

Had to get a sectional piece from Macy's, finally arrived this morning (grey microfiber). I would like to add a middle sectional piece but it would make the room look smaller, and plus I would prefer to just add a nice designer chair on the left hand side along the wall (opposite the tree).
Slowly feels like home here, just need.....
a) a longer computer desk that fits entirely along the wall to have a bigger work space x music studio
b) tv stand / media center.
c) artwork
before....
TV x theater setup (no tv stand at the moment)
work space
new sofa (only one that would friggin' fit -_- )
dog being a bum
Had my eyes set on this tv stand, 1500 from Crate and Barrel though

They usually have some dope ones.
Im in the process of setting up my bdr now. Bout to
hit Ikea for a dresser/tv stand, lounge chair & ottoman,
and I also want a tall plant or something to put in a corner
to add life as well as some aviation paintings/pics.

I always see refurbished ones on slick deals every other week sir, that's how I got my Logitech Harmony 900 for cheap.
Sometimes you can find the cheaper ones like the 500 (nice as well) for $50 also.

I need some inexpensive seating for my breakfast bar area, need 4. I really like these from KMart and that clearance price is ridic of $55 for 2. I would prefer the brown since everything in the house is some shade of beige or brown, but black will do. I might even consider painting the wood or trying. They have brown but sold out in the bar height
Or Overstock has these 1 piece solid metal ones for $104 for a set of 2 but I'd have to paint it some shade of brown or copper/bronze. Maybe I'll pair them with these backless 2 for $69 ones
