BOSTON FTL. that city blows. shopping is ok there if you got money. but if you want nightlife, this city fails. like philly, it has the same dumb drinking lawsthat don't let u booze into the night. the transit system fails also. your butt is stranded wherever you are by 12 -1230am. i go there a lot to visit somefriends...all it REALLY has to offer honestly is sigh seeing, which i admit can be interesting sumtimes.
-walk the freedom trail, and hit up quincy market, its a great little historic turned shopping area with mad food/desserts.
just dont go in the winter time, unless u like to wade thru knee high snow.
BALTIMORE i just came from last weekend. ive been there mad times and i can DEF tell you, you'll be bored. all it has is federal hill, camden yards(orioles), and the inner harbor. THATS IT.
anywhere else: please refer to seasons 1-5 of The Wire.
btw since its about to be october i don't think you'll be seeing any baseball action down there so your just left with the harbor/fed hill. oh andbmore transit shuts off at 1130pm.

I stop at Inner Harbor every summer when I'm traveling for work.. def not enough to do for 2 FULL days..
I'd go w. Boston.. and I'm not saying that just b/c I'm going there for the weekend in 2 weeks..

Its a lot of history here in Baltimore... some nice museums, exhibits, etc. to learn about the nation, the city, and our culture...
Some really nice restaurants (esp. Seafood) that you can take your ladyfriend to...
Some nice places that you can take the little one (granted that you have a seed)...
Or just journey to the MD/DC/VA forum for more info and a better input...
Not to say that Baltimore > Boston, but I'm just providing input from one of the few thats actually from the city...
Plus you can find a lot these for cheap

I'm from Maryland and imma set it straight. Aside from the harbor and maybe the aquarium, there's nuthin all that great about Bmore. Sojuss don't come here. Ok dirty? We don't want you here.
