Sorry to hear about your mom's job loss. The sad truth is your mom's job loss is part of something needs to happen far more often. Government ending wasteful and unneeded projects that take up a bulk of our budget but have nothing to show for the American people. The money will sponsor another government project hopefully into something more fruitful.

Find me any bills Barrack has signed that you feel unnecessarily wastes our money. Want to talk about unnecessarily wasting money, take a look at our health care system. How do we pay the most (2nd most if we count the 64,522 inhabitants of the Marshall Islands) and not even have close to ranked best health care?

And please do not mention the stimulus. Every conservative and liberal economist will said we needed a stimulus or else the country would implode. The republicans with Bush in the white house were actually the first people to ask request a bailout. The majority of the Bush era congress wanted the bailouts.

What you guys fail to realize is most congress repubs and democrats are just gonna play party politics. When bush and the repubs wanted bailouts, the democrats were screaming govt intervention. Now Obama is in the whitehouse with a dem congress the scenario is flipped. Ya'll cannot fall for this party bickering.

What is important is that every expert on the subject no matter what party realized the need and urgency for govt spending on our economy.

Don't let the same repubs who ran this country into this ground, and who first wanted bailouts to distract you from that fact. Whether or not you like the idea, the government needed to pump money into the economy for it to survive. Unfortunately, our congress was pressured by the right and folded into making a weak bill, with hardly enough money.

He did say he was going to be giving people money in the form of tax credits. He did say he was going to be creating jobs, unemployment is almost 10%.

The stimulus had to be done "now!" or there will be a "catastrophe". This just proves how big of a moron Obama is, less than 10% has beendisbursed and it went directly to cover the debts of the states and the economy didn't collapse. What has happened over the 6 months proves the marketfixes itself.



Look at those 2 lists.

The world wants to compare the United States to France, England and micro-countries?

I don't even think if you added the populations of those countries it adds upto the United States, oh by the way Europe's population is static, they have no where near the immigration we do.


Canada's system is so great, but nobody from THIS country is going to Canada for treatment.

Okay, so the United States of America has had a new puppet regime forsix months now.

I was so much into giving Obamaa "chance" and I think it's way past time to call Obama and his supporters out, like we called Bush and his supporters out. Our Presidents aremerely puppets for the Robber Class and Obama is no exception.

I am observing very little "change" in actual policy, or even rhetoric from an Obama regime. Granted, his style and delivery are more polished thanthe last puppet, but especially in foreign policy, little has changed.

Evidently we elect Presidents based on empty rhetoric and if we can find someone who can say very little using many words, that's better. I thought a yearago when Obama and his ilk were blathering on about "change" that they meant positive "change" for us, but it's a shame Obama'svoters didn't ask him to be a little more specific or demand some good "change."

Besides foreign policy where heis a complete disaster, it appears Obama's jobs program is little more than adding tens of thousands of troops to an already bloated military, instead ofbringing troops home from anywhere. Billions will go to the money trap of the Pentagon to invest in recruiting, where the budgets of peace groups who docounter recruitment are tanking. This is the 3rd week in July and already it's the deadliest month for US and coalition troops deaths in Af/Pak. Who wouldever have thought when violence is surged, then deaths would surge, also? I think I've seen this movie before.
