Worst feeling in the world, makes me sometimes wonder if this stuff is like set-up.

Ok so i am in a $100 sit n go. Its early in the game blinds are still 15/30.
My hand is 3c and 3s
Player raises to 60 pre-flop.
I call
Flop comes 2d 3h 2s
I bet 120
one other person calls
turn card is 10c
He bets 360, I raise to 720, he then pushes all in and i call.
Turns over his cards 2h and 2c
Like you have to be kidding me right now. that is one of the worst bad beats i have ever seen in my life.

Stuff like this just makes me wonder if this online stuff is just set-up/ rigged or something

you cant even call it that. How am i suppose to actuallythink he has pocket 2's... get outta here with that.

That's just the way it goes. Bad luck.

If you play the percentages, you'll make money in the long run.

yea i understand...i would have thought he had a 3 or 2...or pockets pre-flopped if he bet during blinds

I was just thinking this earlier. I DL'ed Full Tilt back on yesterday and started playing. Got screwed in 2 out of 3 tournaments on the river, and theother one on the turn. I hit aces on one game, then the dude went all in with his pocket 8's and hit trips on the river. Another game I had top pair9's on the board with ace kicker, and dude hit two pair on the river. I finally got something solid getting third earlier in a tournament.

What I really hate is when dudes go all-in with flush draws or gutshot straights. Pisses me off because I seem to get beat by them over half the time eventhough I have the better hand after the flop.

I don't trust this digital gambling--the newer slot machines included. Seems too easy to make it impossible to win.

Nope - just proves that you are willing to call a bet with a weak starting hand.

Even pros are in the hole online, pokerstars even lists it on the site that the pros they sponsor are for advertising purposes only they are not required toplay on their site (and they choose not to! lol)

Online poker can make you some quick cash but it really is a whole nother ballgame because you can lose it just as fast. I play only brick and mortar and itsalways good to me, you cant beat the sights, smells, and personalities of a real casino.

Eh.. thats definitely bad but I dont think its as bad as you think. He just outflopped you. If a fourth 2 came on the river, then it would be different, buteven then with no draws and a Pocket Pair Set, he HAS to think he would be good.

pocket pairs are one of the most valuable hands because of their potential to felt someone

and also villain min raised it pre flop

lol, that's the worst bad beat you've seen? i've seen two people FLOP straight flushes. one person had 3 4 spades and another had 8 9 spades. flopcomes 5 6 7 all spades. this was at barona casino down in santee right in san diego. at least they got the bad beat jackpot

Dang OP thats why I like playing in real better whenever I play online the hands are always on some riods but thats a call you have to make can't be reallymad at yourself for that

sometimes it is rigged. i knew some people who would gang up on people cash out and move to another site and do it again.
