I don't buy luxury brands like Gucci and Louis Vuitton. That's stupid to me, especially when you're young and having fun. No one expects that out of any person in their 20s. That's why I find it so funny that someone young buys such things to attract women. It's completely unnecessary. I could see people saying they like to look nice. But Gucci and LV? No one in their 20s needs such irrational exuberance.
And on the why part, some people buy clothes, heck things, because they like them. Revolutionary concept, I know.

My mother and sister buy it for me. & I only have a few items. It's not like I'm wearing it on the daily.
Only thing I've bought for myself is a wallet.
& if you aren't a connoisseur of some sort (RFX for example) and a regular young guy like me, more than likely, it's for the girls.
