best album of the year, hands down...

Can we switch this thread title to best Hip Hop Album of the year...since thats all anybody seems to be mentioning

And if not....well there are a crapload of album better than Ghost's.

Can u really say Hov fell off with a straight face
can you really say he didn't...

****

You probably never heard hov in his prime...

his recent stuff doesn't hold a candle to his old classic stuff...

Obviously I've heard Jay-Z in his prime. I know Reasonable Doubt word for word, adlibs included. But maybe my definition of 'fell off' isdifferent from yours. When I say fell off, I think DMX, Prodigy, 50, etc. Cats that used to be good rappers and now, are garbage. Hov doesn't qualify. Hesstill one of the best doing it. But back to the album, I'm not comparing American gangster to Reasonable Doubt or Blueprint, I compare it to the otherrecords dropped in '07, and I feel its one of the best, thats all im saying.

it's Return of the Mac/Big Doe Rehab for me. on any given day i like one more than the other.

I was gonna say this just to be stupid, I should have known u woulda said it. For real tho... American Gangster and Finding Forever for me. Lupelacks that replay value Food and Liquor had.

I don't think too many albums out this here can beat the combination of Yolanda's House/Shakey Dog. Shakey Dog is like the Cuban Linx days.

SMH at none mentioning the REAL number 1 album of the year.
