Best car to cop under $4000

I bought a 1999 Mercury Sable after my 1996 Acura CL 3.0 cost more to fix than was worth and so far so good I've had it for over a year my 2 previous cars were foreign and sometimes repairs or maintenance can be expensive imo

93/94 Camrys are tanks.. Mine was at 275k original miles when I sold it. I heard it still runs like a champ.
