but Pippen and Bron are forwards so you can't exactly call it a "backcourt duo" when one of the guys is a front court player.

Magic and Byron Scott take the cake for me... can't get much better than that

Forwards don't count though. They're part of the frontcourt.

All-time backcourt... West & Goodrich, Clyde & Pearl and as somebody mentioned above, Magic & Byron.

Those 3 true backcourts are the toughest, in my opinion.

I was never a Detroit fan, and always hated Isiah, but Zeke & Dumars are up there with the best, too.

Pippen was the Bulls PG for the most part so I understand why the OP labelled him & Mike as a backcourt duo
