That’s why I said not HEAVILY invested. We only see what these folks post or what is said by them. It’s all hearsay. I always say I give my “opinion” not advice. I’ve always been an eve fan from an entertainment standpoint so of course there’s a bias. Eve is 46, she’s older than me so she’s seen, traveled and been to way more places and in way more circles than me.
Same like Serena Williams. They’ve been household names since they were teenagers. If a black man couldn’t lock them down after all these years, is it that those dudes didn’t have game, or were Serena and eve just jaded? Of course I wish they were with black men, but none of us know why they chose the opposite

The funny part is, all this judging seems to come from dudes who can't commit to a black woman. You don't see a lot of discussion about why black women who exclusively dated black men ended up marrying non-black dudes. It's like, they just want to be angry at women like her instead of working on their own relationships.
The other thing is, that single picture has generated an entire discussion when we don't even know if they take turns hosting, and what it looks like when he is Eve family's guest. From that original post alone, I wouldn't say Eve's situation is similar to Candace's baby shower picture.
But maybe these tabloid folks have better info.
It's not playing dumb.
Some families look beyond class, race, and ethnicity to gauge whether their children's partner is suitable.
I'm not gonna lie, your mentality about marriage would be right at home in a society where arranged marriages and dowry payments are still practiced.

Oh so like I told you pages ago when the convo took place before, if you need to frame it as, "Something white people were right about" in an attempt to vilify/discredit the mindset do your thing.

The biggest political statement you can make is who you decide to marry and have children with.
If you want to run off with them, do your thing. Interracial couples are more likely to get divorced for a reason but hey, "Love who you love."

Again, I know my type and what I date. I was raised a certain a way and knew about cultural things and black excellence, that most black boys and girls where unaware of. I had an advantage. Some of these dudes and girls grew up hating themselves and thinking they were second class citizens. I don’t know what made those people attracted to white folks, I’m not of the same mentality so I would never know. But again, 50+ years post segregation, this was bound to happen
