Besides these two, The only other VI's i copped this year were the Infrared 23's... and those fit very well for me.For the vi's for me they're usually border tts to a half size bigger, but you think the historys are bigger than the other vi's this year?
Btw, dat infrared57 pop!
I wore the History's on monday for the first time and felt like thicker socks would have made them more comfortable (For this reason alone, it may be the huarache tongue
or silhouette itself, but VII's have a more dynamic/glovelike fit, but the VI's are just a gooder looking sneaker and i'm partial to exposed air units, pardon the digression).
The history of jordans have an interesting sock liner, not of your usual VI liner incarnation (underneath the art decor commemorating Mike... are foam perforations the size of the exterior ankle pocket holes... you'll know when you feel them). They're a bit wider at the ankle-by the heel tab because of the material/construction, hence, why they feel so roomy). They could have priced these at premium or at least 200, but i think the backlash for these caused them to be priced at ordinary GR, but they're a great sneaker. Leather is that Wilsons quality).
The Infrared VI's feel very very true (disclaimer, as aforementioned, given that these are the production, time will tell).
People have been complaining about the material of the sneaker itself... its like a composition of both nubuck/durabuck (for a lot of critics, its the best of both worlds). People have mentioned this already, i'd say they are closest to the Black/Red IV's from 2012 (this is great because the minimal crease factor and ease of care/cleaning. I disagree with people saying Durabuck is lower maintenance; imo they crease the most out of 3 textiles typically incorporated and dirt smudges are more prominent, imo. Yes, they will be less ashy over time but the man made stuff doesn't hold a candle to the more natural feel of suede/nubuck. Once again, just preference).
I know Steve72 is a huge proponent of the VI's...
The infrared shade they used is very radiant (once again, granted these reflect production). The 3M, the materials incorporated and shade of Infra is why i'm going to prematurely say this is my favorite release of the year (biased because they're my grails... but they're real nice). To emphasize, the infra is really bright... but any aficionado or even casual carls will appreciate it nonetheless.
