wouldn't a fair head to head be a m3 or a a4? not too familiar with prices but in terms of platforms and markets the s4 is the sporty option while the m3 would be the same for the bmw correct?

how are u comparing s line to 335? it should be either a4 vs 335 or s4 vs m3.

He is correct in comparing the 335i and S4, although he should have chosen the 335i sedan.
The S4 starts at $44k while the 335i starts at $42k ($45k for the coupe).
333hp on the S4 vs. 300hp on the 335i.

I was at the dealership for service today and I looked inside the seats of a 2012 Camry SE. Leather/alacantra (or maybe suede) seats?!
But anywhos, Audi's pricing though.

really the 2011 335is would be a better compare... but when Motortrend did the review on the new 335i it outpaced the 335is in every category... with 35 less bhp... sure it does... anyways I'll take the 335ix any day...

Well the 335is coupe starts at $52k so price-wise it isn't equal to the S4 anymore. It's more of an S5 competitor, which starts at $54k.

I thought there was a 335is sedan?... anyways point I was trying to make was the 330 bhp 2012 335i is faster than the 335 bhp 2011 335is...

Not officially. I believe it is called the BMW Sport Edition and pretty much just have to add the options that is included in the 335is coupe. It also has to be custom ordered iirc, so it isn't officially like the 335is that is already packaged as it is.

lol not really, its the 335i with PPK. its an option. there is stage 1 and stage 2(added upgraded oil cooler). Sport package is different.
