Boardwalk Empire Season 5 Thread - Series Finale - Eldorado

Eli is a dumb ***. Pouring his heart out to Knox then giving him all of the other accounts :{ Thompson bros. got a problem with that.

Nucky & Chalky getting the yambs though :smokin The straight right and Chalky just being mad all the damn time "He just a ****** with a dictionary."

Lucky is going to have a problem on his hands

Am I missing something or did I miss when Harrow left his sister's place for good? I just don't recall him saying by and heading back to NY. All I remember is his sis killing those dudes and then them talking to some other guy in a later scene. I almost thought the father was just hallucinating when he saw Harrow.

The Eli/Nucky team-up is BS.

A few seasons ago, they were trying to kill each other.

Blood is always thicker than water. I'd say Eli adequately earned his position by Nucky's side by working from the bottom all the way back to the top in addition to doing that bid

Knew Margaret wouldn't stay out of the story. Nucky threw a quick jab at her and Owen when he said "I wouldn't put something alive in a box" :lol

I'm guessing Agent Knox will try to use Eli now or Eddie may find out who Know really is

You're right. I'da liked to see Eli do a little more to earn his spot back. Hopefully he can properly redeem himself if he can deal with Knox.

Love how Lucky couldnt get in on the FLA business cause of the bosses back home. Him and Meyer are really tired of not being able to do business freely. But they are still 7 years away from forming the Commission. This season has been great.

I don't really get why y'all are giving Eli so much flack for talking to Knox. How is he supposed to know that Eddie talked to him? :lol

On a side note, I'm really liking all these jazz performances at the Onyx Club.

Someone already mentioned the great Nucky line, but Mickey had a great one to Knox when he said he uses the cane for clubbing rats.

Eli noticed the initials on the napkin don't match up with what Knox said his name is. He is definitely onto him. He will be a lot more careful going forward.

:lol I'm pretty sure Nucky said that by accident.

He looked nervous and looking for a confidant (as we would later see in the ep) when he said that.

So far this season has seemed pretty slow. Probably because I'm comparing it to last season. At this point Gyp had caught about ten bodies and insulted EVERYONE. I hope it picks up soon.

Eli done F'd up giving knox the accounts and getting all emo..

I knew this Ninja Chalky wanted the yambs..thats all he thought about at the dinner table lol

Speaking of yambs, Nuck got it in :smokin

Gotta say..this episode was kind of slow but the season is goin HAM none the less, I can feel something brewing up soon.

I got mad when I saw Margaret, but glad it was only for a few minutes. And I didn't even catch the "alive in a box" jab Nucky made, intentional or not :lol . Wasn't the gift the lizard?

We don't see him say goodbye to his sister. I found that weird also because he got that phone call from the man (not sure of his name) telling Richard that his sister has a large debt that needs to be paid.

So was margarets role diminished by the writers or the actress wanting to move on to other projects. Either way no more margaret. Yes.

What are you guys talking about? :lol

There was a very distinct conversation between the two of them where she says "if you are going to leave again, don't come back" before he leaves the house.

Naw, she said that on like episode 1, they had many more actions and him leaving the house to not murder that one guy. before he came back to atlantic

I don't think that was intentional because Nucky had nothing to do with Owen being put in that box. Maybe he realised he made a faux pas after saying it, but I don't think that was his intention.

Always like seeing Meyer and Charlie in scenes together.

Same here, this is why I love the show so much. There are so many places this can go, and as long as HBO continues to renew them we should get great seasons in the future to touch on each characters {real of course} contribution to history.

Mickey is going to out last everyone on this show.

The whole thing with the call and debt was apart of a scheme by the guy who hired Harrow to kill like 6 guys. I'm guessing one of or the final guy was in his home town. We know Harrow let him go but by the end of the ep some other guy kills him anyway and then makes that call about the debt. Then an ep or two later they find out Harrow is staying at his sister's and the guy who killed the debt collector and the guy who hired Harrow to kill all those guys corner him in that shack or w/e it was. We know the rest from there. I do forget if that's where Harrow hurt his hand.

I just find it weird cuz his sis told him when he came back if you're gonna stay, stay but if not don't ever come back. Then the last scene we see with them is when some friend of hers stops by to pick up or drop off something and from what I remember that's it then Harrow is in Atlantic city in that hospital.

So either he ditched her again, told her where he was going and that he was coming back, or he brought her to Atlantic city with him. I'd find the last option the most interesting one.

The gift was w/e the chick from Fl gave Nucky, it wasn't an alive lizard, think it was a toy.

That was early on before she killed those 2 guys coming for Harrow (hell even before she killed the dog for him) and even with that scene and what she said in mind we still never see him say goodbye to her or even see him depart. He just shows up back in town.

Finally caught up on the last two episodes.

Eddie.

Was wrong about Knox being able to break him. Eddie had some serious skeletons in his closet too.

@ Mickey reading Kessler's letter. "Dear everybody......I took the money........I am bad."

Dat penmanship was immaculate though.

Gillian is a mess right now, and that's saying something considering all the shenanigans she's done on the show thus far.

Frank Capone was an intriguing character. Seemed like he was the only one capable of reeling Al Capone in when he got wreckless. The scene with him seeing Van Alden looking like he's gonna kill Al then getting absolutely lit up by police was nicely done.

That was a mean jab Nucky hit Sally with.

Margaret finally makes an appearance this season, much to the chagrin of most of y'all I'm sure.

Chalky finally gave in to the feminine wilds of Daughter Maitland. Good thing too, because he might've killed his family if he didn't let go of that sexual tension with her. Dude was extra surly for no reason.
