Point is I'm not trying to "stunt", I don't need approval when at the end of the day I bought the car I wanted. I'm a grown man with a great job that came from a family of blue collar workers w/ little education, I've always made my own way and if I really cared I wouldn't have posted the car. I researched everything from the Tiquan SEL, Audi Q5 and Grand Cherokee and decided this was what I wanted. I am quite happy with the 370Z and Evoque.

That's the bottom line at the end of the day.

You sound like my uncle right now when we were going in on his *** for copping a Daewoo Leganza brand new for like 25 or 30K.  Dude was all like "I did the research and shopped around and this is what I really wanted".

yes, da evoque is da cheapest range rover.

its always da ugliest RANGE rover, no one here is gonna take it over da regular joint or da sport.

and tata motors DID purchase land rover, and jaguar from Ford (even though Ford retains some ownership of both)

we're not knocking what you do, but we do see da reach and we're calling it. that whip is 40k, your options at that price level was

broad, and instead of getting da top of da line SRT8 jeep, or even a used older sports or luxury SUV, you decided to get da base model

.  OP, got a new car with the warranty, not some 10 year old Range with no warranty, maintenance issues, and cheap *** rims.  I hope you're not telling kids around there to buy cars they can't afford, so they look like they have money.  You can act like you're stuntin' all you want until your car is on the side of the road because you can't cover gas and maintenance.

Eiher way OP, I really like the Evoque, especially after seeing its review on Top Gear

.  I would've got the 4-door as well, I don't see the point in a 2-door SUV.  Contrary to most opinions, I would just leave it stock.  Maybe tints and HIDs, if it doesn't have them, but no new rims or blacked out grill.  I'm actually considering getting one over the summer, so I might be bumping this thread in a few months to see how it's holding up

nice pick up. this is my favorite of the range as well and i would choose the evoque over the other oversized lemons all the women are driving because it's in "style".

at all the hate. At the end of the day, he got what he wanted. You know why? Because he's able to afford it. Not many cats can say that are able to do that. Shoot not many people on here can say they have a 370z AND a Range. Shoot not many people on here can say they own a damn car. Hopefully we don't get much snow this year in the northeast. Last year was great.

he opened it up for discussion when he decided to make a thread about it, noone is hating either,people are just simply naming the cons along with those people giving props to him.

if he hadnt bought the car and was just asking if he should go with this car, would you still consider comments made by say, ninja hood as hate? 

i wouldnt, i wouldve also done my research instead of buying something just for the brand name.

No he couldn't for $45K. Most of those cars you listed are over $60K new. New and used cars should be compared.

Ninjahood doesn't name cons; he just bashes it because it's not some huge engine car...he does it in every thread; the Evoque has been universally praised but if it doesn't have 22's and an engine producing 10 MPG then Ninjahood bashes it

just like his American Muscle slurping; the only thing that matters to him is how fast he can go straight in 0-60 seconds
