Bulls offseason Thread

Glad everyone here works in the front office and can predict the future.

bruh ...dont be THAT guy

im positive you get exactly what ppl are saying

dont make it more than it is

Don't be optimistic? Take what you say as the gospel and let it ride?

If so, then I'll pass. Nobody knows what will happen in the league anymore and it's not just an owners league anymore it's a player. If Rose went to the FO and said let's grab Melo, you think they wouldn't.

C'mon fellas let's stay positive.....ain't much else we got left.
With the Bears out of contention, my shift to full bball mode is getting rougher and rougher by the day.

Good win tonight. Jo was an assist shy of a triple dub.

i like how EVERYONE knew about it & thibs got mad becasue the team was trying to get it for Jo (just like when deng was an assist shy of one) & at the end he clams up as usual "nah we always run the o thru Jo" "I had no idea" :lol

good W against those green punks Bullies

How? Hope this is not an opinion based on media.

I was a fan of melo through HS college and first few years in the league, ive never seen such a talented and capable player who refuses to change. Melo been doing the same thing his whole career. I get heated with this melo convo because he has all the ability in the world to be 1b 1c to players like lebron kd etc. Instead he still believes that just scoring and being a decent rebounder is all you need. Melo doesnt want to change his approach its always about him and always will be so yea i stand by he is a cancer.

Sometimes a change of scenery does help, but I can't front like I don't hear what you saying loud and clear.

Exactly, i see you point. My only question is what coach demanded that from him?

He's been coached by George Karl, Pringles, & Mike Woodson... Not absolving him of anything but they aren't exactly world beaters.

Pringles and Karl are very flawed but they are ball movement and offensive flow experts.... And their teams' flow got beaten down the Melo out there.

I can see Pringles but Karl... WHAT?!?!? :lol Where did you get that point of view from? Serious question.

He's always coached excellent offensive teams. He got a lot out of last year's Nuggets playing team ball on the break.

When you look at the people he's had leading his teams I can't think of a coach who's been blessed with better PG's besides Riley

GP
Sam Cassell
Chauncey
Basic Game
Ty Lawson

He never drew up out of bounds plays regardless of the situation... just relied on players to figure it out... That leas me to believe that he wasn't that great of an offensive coach was just fortunate enough to have some AMAZINGLY talented players

I mean George Karl is a very respected coach in the league but I can even let that slide call it melo growing up days. 11 years deep in the league though as man you would think he would see he needed the change. He not stupid to whats going on around him or whats been said, he turns 30 in a few months not sure if he hasnt changed now he will be willing to.

I could be a little rough on melo but the day i felt he was a true cancer was when he put denver and NY into a strong hold and got that trade done. All he had to do was finish the year out and sign with New York, he wasn't restricted he just bulled his way out blew up the knicks and signed a 3 year extension. Instead he blew up a team with some nice pieces at the time and they still had the money for melo. After that i knew melo only cared for him self not winning.

I can see this. As a bulls fan i was happy he did it that way but yeah he gutted them with that deal :{

I always thought melon was a perfect fit for this team. They do well with chuckers. Mostly cuz thibbs can't coach O. Just give rose and melo the OK to shoot the ball and taj,Noah can clean up the rest and okay crazy D. Melo is that scoring option we always needed.

I've always been mad that he only wanted to go to NY out of Denver when CHI made better sense.
