Bulls fans where we at for the Miami and/or NY games? I know I know no Hooters, but we gotta get together this season. I've only met City, Cake and Casper. It's time we kick it ahead of the parade in Grant Park.

I'm going nuts waiting for the season to start. We're good though as we KNOW Rose is playing, and everyone else is healthy going into the new season. There has been a lot of disrespect and amnesia concerning our team this year. BIG IF...IF we stay healthy, I don't see us getting eliminated in playoffs this year. I see Rose with a lot to prove, I'm calling MVP year again. I see Butler emerging as a true perimeter threat. Hell even Noah stands to get better. Add in all star Lu and hopefully another steady Booz and I think we finally make it to the promised land.

Division play will be tough, but I think it will only help keep them focused. I don't buy all this talk of the Bulls falling down the standings. They are still the number one threat to Miami dynasty.

I'M SO GEEKED UP RIGHT NOW!

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't concerned with Indy.

They play a very similar style of ball to us and that front court is savage.

Im down for a meet up. im out in the burbs, but ill trek into the city. Im still goin to the first home game though...not sure how or how much lol

Bulls advantage over Indy remains guard play though. The way Butler played during playoffs, if he improves on that he'll be a huge commodity.

I'm definitely drinking the D.Rose for MVP kool aid lol. I think he's gonna come back with that fire in his eyes like the first MVP season. My biggest concern is the depth at the bigs.

Fellas, I'd love to meet up and finally meet you as I live in the city but with a 5 month old I'm doubtful.

That being said, a few suggestions on where to meet in the city:

1. Old Town Pour House: http://www.oldtownpourhouse.com/
2. Public House: http://www.publichousechicago.com/
3. The Scout: http://www.thescoutchicago.com/

Off-season is boring but this new hire is encouraging especially in light of injuries, conditioning, etc.

Bulls Hire New Director of Sports Performance

The Chicago Bulls have added a new member to their front office staff. The team on Tuesday announced that Jennifer Swanson is the new director of sports performance.

Swanson will be responsible for overseeing the athletic training and strength and conditioning departments, as well as massage therapy, chiropractic care, nutritional support and any auxiliary services required.

The California native spent the past five years as a Performance Physical Therapy Manager at Athletes’ Performance in Los Angeles, the same facility Derrick Rose used during his ACL rehab. Prior to her tenure at Athletes’ Performance, Swanson completed a Sports Physical Therapy Residency at the University of Pittsburgh Centers for Rehab Services, where she also spent time working as an intern with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Swanson earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Duke University (2004) and a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Psychology from the University of California, Davis (2001). She is a Board Certified Specialist in Sports and Orthopedics, as well as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.

Swanson is also an accomplished track athlete, as she is a six-time NCAA Division II All-American and was the National Indoor Pole Vault Champion in 2000.

To add to Cake's point, I wasn't too concerned about Indy until they added Scola to address their bench scoring.

They will be a much tougher out than ever but we'll see.
