Call of Duty: Ghost | OT | Xmas Gun Camo LIVE for X360, ONE and PC, PS4/3 on 12/18

:lol you serious? That was probably my favorite game mode.

The regular PS3 crew getting it?

If I do its going to be on PC

first COD in like 4 years i didnt get at the midnight release when BO1 and MW3 dropped I got home and saw 50+ people online at Midnight
i turned my ps3 on last night to watch netflix and saw like 10

:lol, Same, I was on netflix last night and saw only 1 person on my list playing.

Didn't even realize this dropped today, :lol

Have fun, bros.

Also, the low numbers online are probably due to the fact most people will cop for PS4/X1.

Or maybe people are just realizing that CoD has been poop for a while now and they're finally fed up, :lol

Save yourself the trouble. BO2 on PC highest player count was 70,000 players on day one, and five months after launch it sat around 5,000. Ghost currently has 35,000 users online and many of them are complaining about performance issues.

Anybody wanting to buy the game newegg has it for $45

MP is pretty trash.
I found BLOPS2 a lot more fun then this game.

People are camping like champs, the characters look old and the game pace is slow. I will probably trade in the game and go back to Black Ops or Battlefield 4.

Well i got in about a 2 hours of MP.
This is the most different feeling COD to me. it is still similar and recognizable if you have played cod before but it is also different. IMO
I play domination almost exclusively, and that might change this year. the combination of weapons, site lines, map size, flag placement and new capture behavior Domination isnt what ive come to expect. But it could just be the early stages of getting used to the game.

Finally SMGs perform like SMGs and ARs perform like ARS. i will run and hide berfore trying to shoot it out long range with an SMG. Only exception so far that i have experienced is the Honeybadger. iv done decent with it in close quarters and feel good about long range exchanges.

There are tons of long range site lines now. its not so much of the cramped close quarters combat we've been accustomed to. While that still exist you also will get killed from an enemy that is a pretty good distance away alot more frequently.

You die pretty quickly. in my experience if i get hit i usually end up dieing. i have maybe escaped 5 or 6 deaths after being shot and trying to run.

I dont understand how to work these squad points, KS or perks quite yet. Thats where the game gets very involved and confusing for me. its like doing a math equation putting together a loadout right now for me. i dont even try to switch it up between matches. im still at the pint where i have to back out and do it.

Map setup is not the typical 3 lane setup or atleast it doesnt seem like it right now. i have genuine trouble finding dom flags at this point. but with time that will change.

Being runnig Support killstreaks. sat com-->Ammo crate-->Oracle. amoo crate is cool. it resupply you and other teammates ammo when you walk over it and you can hold x and get a random weapon out. that hasn't be to kind to me yet.lol.

I like it so far and it will probably become more fun once i really get into it and figure out how to play forreal. not my favorte cod but a nice switch up even if only subtle.

Just my thoughts since most people have been bashing the game to shreds. while i do see where that comes from i think its a little over the top.

I think FEETure's review is pretty accurate. I picked this up last night for myself and another copy for my brother in law. There's absolutely no time in between matches to adjust your load outs. I usually have at least 3 ready to go, but the perks and squad points is kinda confusing. I like being able to escape gunfire after the initial hits, but you die way too easily. Hopefully that'll change after an update. For those that have bashed it but haven't actually played it yet, you might want to give it a run to judge for yourself. I've played all the cods, and while this certainly isn't the best, I think it's pretty good.

if you're complaining of a slow pace you might want to reconsider BF4.

I noticed my copy came with two discs, second disc says to install and my brothers came with only one which is the game disc any difference ?

I have a big problem with them getting rid of Ground War. I thought this was just a rumor but now that i see that this is a fact i can't play COD anymore.

Im hoping that this was only removed from the current gen versions or they have another 9v9 game type because this is inexcusable.

I don't know what most people are complaining about.

COD has been COD for the past 4 years. If you bought all of the MW's and BO's versions, don't start acting brand new and talking **** now.

Downloaded the game this morning, and after about 4-5 hours of play there's a few things I like, and a couple I hate.

Like:

- no more Usain Bolt knife attacks

- playercards and badges look better than all that crayon **** people created in BO2

- the maps don't look recycled

- being able to upgrade any gun you want w/o ranking up in that particular gun

- character customization

Hate:

- drop shots and hop shots still being the cheese move of choice

- game modes are weak

- dogs

I've got a few hours logged so far. It is different, but it's not horrible like most people are saying. FEETure's review is spot-on imo. The only thing I don't like is that core is pretty much the same thing as hardcore except you get the HUD. Once you're shot, there's no escaping. Hopefully they patch that in an update. Other than that, I like it. I'm sure I'll only like it more once I learn the ins and outs of the maps and how to tailor my classes to my play style.

I'm playing it right now. Glad I red boxed, it's going back tomorrow. The reviews are right, this one is weak. Maps are way too big, time expired on a few of my team deathmatch games. Kills are super fast, spray a couple shots and man down. Good luck getting away clean if your shot at first. The guns and perks are interesting, but gameplay seems underwhelming. If you run and gun you'll be dead before you know it, and if you camp you might suicide out of boredom. Even final killcam seems hella bland. Only level I somewhat like is the hot dog stand one since it's fairly straightforward. This is for dudes who like playing turbine in BLOPS2 but more expanded. I don't know why they thought making maps huge was a good thing.

Ground war would have made so much sense in this game, smh.

People complaining at the game cuz they die too fast instead of considering that they themselves need to aim faster and more accurately. :lol

I still need 3-4 hit markers before I get a kill w/ an assault riffle and sometimes up to 5 w/ an smg if I'm far enough.

As an exclusive "hardcore" player, I've watched, add they slowly killed off the HC game modes. First cod I haven't gotten on release day since mw2.
I'll wait for reviews, but it seems that activision had finally scraped the bottom of the barrel, and this game is going the rockband route.

Honestly, the complaints I'm reading are pretty much spot on with the past 2 CoD releases. :lol

I'm not expecting anything great, but hopefully I'll be entertained more than I was with BLOPS2. Gonna grab it from Redbox in a few.

Played 3 matches before I had to leave for dinner.

Anyone else think the maps are too big? Everyone of those 3 games ended due to time.

Was gonna buy it today but my boy said it was horrible & none of my friends got it. First time in 5 years not buying cod :{ .

Welp.

I been playing CoD for a long time and this installment is refreshing.

It is different and I like it!

Been on the fence watching vids.Popped in MW3 and satisfied lol
Even my dude said it wasn't too appealing and didn't have that "another game!!!!" Feeling because of the maps.but hey ,never know,if its just the maps,a DLC with small maps would fix that

Played about 4 hours today and I enjoyed the game. Haven't got that feeling since BO1. I noticed little to no lag comp, which ruined mW3 and BO2 so that's a big plus. The gameplay mechanics still felt the same. Not as fast paced as MW3 but not as slow as BO1. Somewhere in the middle. I will take bringing down a dude with 2-3 bullets vs emptying a whole clip on someone (BO2) any day.

Seems like the media finally caught up to the half-assed nature of the COD series, and most of y'all bit on bad reviews. This should have been done since the MW2 days. IMO this game is up there with COD4, WaW, and BO1.

To everyone leaning towards BF4, remember you're doing it for the graphics and will come back to COD. Gameplay is totally different. Same with Killzone. When KZ2 released on PS3, it was beautiful. it was the nicest looking FPS for the "next-gen" PS3. But that only lasted about a month. Then the game mechanics caught up.
