That just basically happens on PS3 because it's free and sony doesn't care too much. I'm on 360 and I've never seen a hacked lobby at least not in hardcore TDM which is the best mode. Also live tends to have better latency and smoother online play, plus the 360 controller is basically made especially for FPS games, a good 90% of gamers probably like the 360 controller for shooters over the PS3, it's way more comfortable.
