IDK.. 02's will always have a place in my heart. But that 2012 pair was done exceptionally well and the suede is way more durable and not ashy like the BC IV's (yeah yeah its durabuck or w/e lol).

2012 a great retro to me. Only thing I wish they did was make the peaks a dull finish instead of glossy. But I'm just nitpicking at that point. Imo they could pass off being remastered. I like the dmps also though.

In my area they sat hard in 2012. Went to the mall several times passing them with regret everytime. Finally after a month or so passed,I grabbed. No one ate these up around here. I'm just glad I got my pair.

I prefer the 2002 over all shape compared to the 2012. Also like the durabuck/nubuck combo. DMPs didn't look good at all in my opinion.

The only reason I passed at the time was because I owned the original,, and the dmp. At the time could not justify getting another pair. Since it's my all time favorite shoe I almost felt offended that they sat so long lol.

Hell nah, I passed in 2012. They may have nice durabuck, but I like the durabuck/nubuck combo the 2009 and the 2002 had. 2012 was too plain IMO and I hated the shape.

Remastered is supposed to mean as close to the OG as possible, the 2002 is most consistent with that

If y'all like the 2012 Playoff 7, did you also like the 2013 Playoff 8s? I purchased 2013 to keep my 2007 Playoff 8s DS. The 2007 Playoff 8s have a special texture that 2013 lacks plus the shape being inferior.

There's one thing I like about Air Jordan 7 in general and that is because there's never been paint cracking problems.

The whole shoe is an all black nubuck. The 2002 and OG have a stlight contrast on the uppers because of the different materials. I know the 2009 took it too far but I loved my pair. I like little details shoes like the OG and first generation retros of the Charcoal 7 Infrared 6 and Playoff 8. When they make the uppers of these shoes one material like they did on the recent retros of each of those, I found them plain

I'm a detail buff ninjahood , I know it can be annoying but I like the details Jb used on OGs and retros before 2009; it seems like jb forgot some of those details on some retros. 2012 pair does look amazing on feet

It was also my observation that each OG 7 featured a two tone or two material upper to provide some contrast.

For me.

I love the 2007 pair, wore mine into ground in 2011. As I said before I liked certain details, and after having the 2007, when I saw the 2013 pair I was pissed. Same went for the 2010 infrared and charcoal pairs.
