That's where Nike gets credit, in general.
Many of you are too young to remember, but once upon a time (I'd say 1985), ALL the major sneaker companies were jive dead even -- ESPECIALLY in D.C.
What Nike did from a marketing standpoint from 1986 - 2000 is everlasting for the next 100 generations. That's UNHEARD of in business.
They can just remake stuff from 86-00, and be a multi-billion profitable company (I argue) forever......................
I mean, c'mon jo, Penny Hardaway had 2.5 GREAT seasons.
Thousands of others can claim the same, but what makes Penny... Penny?
As my man Lavan said, "its in the pudding!"
