I keep seeing ads for birddog and 10000cc shorts, all these durable workout shorts with built in underwear and I wonder if it appeals to these same non-bathing cretins.

I gotta shower at least daily. I can’t reuse clothes either. I get off work dirty af.

I gotta take a New Jersey shower at work before I even get in my car.

I remember meeting a bunch of Dutch students in Spain when I was studying abroad. Evidently they didn't believe in deodorant. Maybe showers as well but I didnt ask. They were nice extremely personable and easy to get along with and some even bagged a few of the girls from our group. The stench was bad too after a while you'd have to find an excuse to go away. I guess some of the girls didn't mind it or maybe even found it attractive.

I don't get the whole immune system arguement when it comes to showering/bathing.

You ain't gotta submerge yourself in anti biotics to get clean.

You can make considerable improvements just using water if you view soap as the enemy

I mean cold showers are supposed to be goated for boosting your immune function amongst other things.

There's that arguement too...

That soap / cologne masks your natural pheromones....

So the cheeks you've been getting should be credited to Tom Ford and Paco Rabanne cause they wouldn't **** with you otherwise.

helllll no you need to shower every single day. **** that. I can see woman not washing their hair every day but at least wash your ***. Twice sometimes in the summer time and specially after swimming. Also id be damned if i let my man come to bed all smelly and not shower for a couple days. Da ****kkkkk the wimmiz who do that prob be the same ones out here sucking lemon pepper D im good on the seasoning

What if your man didn't leave the house and just sat on the couch all day?

Would you let him in the bed or no?

It's just something folks repeat to make themselves feel better about not washing their nuts.

Nothing more, nothing less.

They don't even know how to measure anything they are even speaking of to even make that bogus claim.

"I never get sick, so what I'm doing MUST work."

Smell is an interesting topic. As it is something that can change over time and with different exposures. Certain cultures think of a strong smell as an aphrodisiac - whereas we (from America) find it repugnant. We shower way more than is needed for health reasons so it’s mostly a societal norms thing. I’m with it though an ice cold shower feels great and if i’m lucky enough to live with the privilege to have access to the water constantly i’m taking full advantage of it .

To those who shower every other day or when they smell their own funk, why?? Just curious, I won’t trash your trash hygiene regime.

I am sure the REAL reason is laziness.

But they will tell you

A. I want to build my immune system
B. We don't need to shower as much as we do
C. Saving water for kids in the Solomon Islands
D. We have been socially conditioned to shower once per day.

Everybody got their reasons for doing things. I just want to hear from the other side. I come in peace as you say

after working with homeless for many years, a lot don’t shower because it’s not routine and to keep it gully, trauma occurred in bathtubs so they stay away.
Alot of major cities have showerhouses run by church orgs. The reason they still smell is cause:
1. They wear the same clothes for like 10 days straight. They dont got no pajamas either, it's the same damn outfit 24/7.

2. They piss on buildings in random alleys. When you are peeing against a concrete wall, naturally it's going to splatter back on your clothes.
3. They smoke a pack of cigarettes every day. Stale tobacco smell combined with 10 day old clothes = it smells like they crapped their pants.
4. They get stuck outside during thunderstorms at some point, which makes their shoes smell like a dead animal.
5. Some (not all) of them use hard drugs like meth/crack which is cooked with random chemicals like ammonia and lighter fluid. The body can't get rid of these chemicals digestively, so they get sweated out they the skin barrier.
