I always say "I won't hold my breath" or "not holding my breath"

me: I'm going to give you $100 tomorrow

you: I won't hold my breath

you doubt me enough or are confident enough to know I won't give you $100 therefore you are not going to hold your breath until I come through...well because you'd pass out or die 

  It's a backhanded way of expressing doubt.
